The Location of the Brookdale Hotel, Truro
We’re less than ten minutes walk - a stroll not a sprint - from the city centre, with its cobbled streets, back alleys, restaurants, shops and theatre; we’re eight minutes (again a stroll) from the city’s historic cathedral, and just five from the River Fal, where you can take a boat trip down to Falmouth.
We’re also central for government offices and Treliske and Duchy hospitals, if you’re working or visiting there, and are a five minute taxi ride from the railway and coach stations. And because Truro is centrally situated in Cornwall, we’re just nine miles from both the south and north coasts, five from the main A30, and seventeen from Newquay airport with Ryanair and South West flights to Stansted and Gatwick . We can also arrange car hire from the hotel.
How to Find Us
From Exeter follow the A30 towards Truro, then take the A390 into Truro. At the first set of traffic lights turn right, the Brookdale Hotel is approximately 3/4 of a mile on the left hand side.
We are located on the A390 on the St Austell side of town.
If you coming from the Town centre head out of Truro following the signs to St Austell. As you enter Tregolls Road here is a Shell garage on your left hand side and a Police station on your right (Truro town centre is behind you) . After the first pedestrian crossing, there is a gap in the central reservation with a filter lane to turn right into Trelander Highway. Turn right here, then immediately after the first bit of traffic calming turn left and immediately left again. This is the back car park for the Brookdale Hotel.
